Abstract

Unbundling quer dizer desenfeixamento; bundle , em inglês, corresponde a fascia, feixe, em latim. O verbo to bundle, enfeixar, encontra o seu contrário pela adição do prefixo un, e o vocábulo assim composto, acrescido do sufixo ing, forma o gerúndio desse verbo, de onde provêm o substantivo unbundling. Na linguagem específica de telecomunicações, optou-se pelo vocábulo desagregação como versão do vocábulo inglês, e em francês degroupage, desagrupamento.
