Avaliação ex post de atos de concentração como o CADE pode aprimorar a efetividade e a transparência de suas decisões?
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article is related to the performance of ex post evaluations of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) by Cade. The author found that the Brazilian competition authority has taken the first and important step towards the improvement of transparency and effectiveness of its decisions by performing its first ex post evaluation of a M&A. Despite being late in comparison to other competition authorities around the world, the implementation of this kind of evaluation by Cade is in the right direction, however it is necessary that the antitrust authority improves internal processes so a systematic implementation can be achieved
