Reformas regulamentares e concorrência o caso da indústria bancária brasileira

Resumen
No estudo em questão fixamos o foco na indústria bancária durante o período de julho de 1988 a dezembro de 2002. Dois motivos nos levaram a delimitar esse período. Há claramente uma mudança de direção quanto à concentração estrutural do setor quando do início da vigência do Plano Real (período pós-94) e quando do início da exposição do sistema bancário nacional à concorrência do capital estrangeiro (a partir do segundo semestre de 1995), o que nos permite analisar as influências da mudança institucional sobre as condições concorrenciais.
