Abstract
In the last years, it has been evident the focus of the enforcement of Brazilian competition authorities with respect to cartel practices. However, it has not yet been object of due attention by Brazilian authorities the possibility of the conduct of exchange of Information among competitors - which is closely related to cartel practices - being considered violations to competition. Based on the enthusiastic discussions in doctrine and case law about the subject in Europe and USA. this article aims at collaborating with the job of finding answers to basic questions on: (a) whether the exchange of Information among competitors could be seen as an independent antitrust violation in Brazil; and (b) which are the limits and possibilities for a given practice to be considered an illegal practice of Information exchange.
