Mensurando os impactos no Brasil das tarifas aplicadas pelos EUA
Main Article Content
Abstract
Since April 2025, Brazilian exports have been subject to additional tariffs imposed by the United States, amounting to 50% on a substantial portion of the products exported by Brazil. To date, there has been no indication of any relaxation of these tariff measures, nor of negotiations that could lead to a reduction in the applicable rates or the exclusion of specific products. In this context, we propose a methodology to assess the impact of these tariff measures on Brazilian exports, as well as the potential mechanisms available to Brazil in response to this new reality.
