Resumo
Muito se tem falado e escrito sobre a globalização dos mercados, a liberalização do comércio internacional e a Organização Mundial do Comércio. Somando-se a estes temas, surge agora uma nova discussão, versando sobre a necessidade de criação de um conjunto multilateral de regras de concorrência no âmbito da OMC1. Não existem dúvidas de que o comércio internacional vem passando por profundas mudanças desde a implantação do GATT em 1947, até a recente criação da OMC em 1994.
