O Déficit democrático no Sistema de Solução de Controvérsias da OMC perspectivas à luz de um Tribunal Arbitral “Ad Hoc”

Resumo
Este artigo traz reflexões advindas das mudanças propostas pelo Governo Trump no Sistema de Solução de Controvérsias da Organização Mundial do Comércio, principalmente no tocante à possibilidade de dissolução do Órgão de Apelação e os impactos que isso traria para os PaísesMembros menos desenvolvidos, os “Least Developed Countries” (LDC). Para tanto, através do método procedimental bibliográfico, expõe o já existente déficit democrático na OMC e as razões para as dificuldades de acesso à
solução de controvérsias e por meio do estudo exploratório e do método dedutivo, discorre acerca de como as mudanças propostas pelo governo norteamericano podem agravar o déficit
