Concorrência efetiva e potencial entre aeroportos aplicação ao caso Galeão X Guarulhos

Resumo
0 aumento da demanda por serviços aeroportuários, derivado do incremento do tráfego de passageiros nas últimas décadas, aliado aos processos de desregulamentação e privatização do setor, incrementou a competição efetiva e potencial entre os aeroportos e afastou a visão tradicional de que os mesmos seriam monopólios naturais. Neste contexto, é realizada avaliação, levando em consideração os aeroportos do Galeão/RJ e de Guarulhos/SP, dos principais aspectos relacionados à identificação do grau de concorrência entre aeroportos Conclui-se que a concorrência entre os principais aeroportos do Brasil estaria ameaçado na hipótese
de que ambos fossem controlados pelos mesmos consórcios ou consórcios coligados, por motivos já consagrados na doutrina e jurisprudência antitruste, inclusive nacional.
